The 100% resorbable threads are inserted subcutaneously (under the skin) with the help of a very fine guide needle, collagen formation is stimulated, and after 6–8 weeks, the treated area is significantly tightened as a result of this and the tension of the threads. The lift effect smooths wrinkles and the silhouette of the face and neck appears refreshed. The threads are completely broken down after 180–240 days, but the results last for 1-2 years.
This treatment is low in pain. Side effects such as slight swelling or hematomas (bruises) can occasionally occur, but are not a problem. They can be covered with make-up the next day and subside quickly.
